Congratulations to the Heroes of our community! Making an impact each and every day!
Celebrating a Community Hero
On May 1, 2026, Anderson First Church of the Nazarene honored individuals making a meaningful difference throughout the Anderson community during their Heart for Community Heroes celebration.
We are proud to share that Becky Fish, Papa’s House Ministry Manager, was awarded the Gathering Guardian Hero Award.
Becky’s steady compassion, leadership, encouragement, and faithful care for the women of Papa’s House make a lasting impact every single day. This recognition reflects not only her dedication to our residents, but also the love and hope she pours into everyone around her.
The event organizers shared these words with the honorees:
"Thank you to our Heart for Community Heroes. Each honoree has been selected for the meaningful difference they make in the lives of others through their dedication, generosity, and service. You are the heartbeat of our community, and we are deeply grateful for the example you set and the lives you continue to touch."
We couldn’t agree more.
Congratulations, Becky — and thank you for serving with such grace, strength, and heart. We are incredibly grateful for you.

❤️ A Night to Remember❤️
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, hosted a table, volunteered, donated, shared a conversation, or simply came with an open heart.
Because of friends like you, the evening was filled with warmth, laughter, encouragement, and meaningful connection. It was a beautiful reminder that lives are changed when a community comes together with compassion and hope.
Thank you for believing in the women of Papa’s House and for being part of what God is doing here. Your kindness, generosity, and support help create a place where women can heal, rebuild, and begin again.
We left the evening encouraged, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead — and we hope you did too.
